Apocalypse from Greek meaning "revelation". The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are the best known and most frequently referred to scene in the Apocalypse. After the opening of the first four seals (Rev. 6, 1- 8), the Horsemen enter the world and bring plague, war, hunger and death to mankind. The four horsemen are 1) "Conquest" holding a bow; 2) "War" with a sword; 3) "'Famine" with a weighing scale; 4) "Death", on a pale horse, closely followed by Hades.

The Apocalypse is known as a period of struggle that will end in the ultimate destruction of darkness. At the end of time, it is foretold, this great battle will take place and will forever seal the triumph of good over evil.
