King Richard the Lionheart Suit of Armor
King Richard the Lionheart riding a horse standing on a wooden platform. The knight wears a parade suit of armor composed by a great helm with crest, a cuirass with pauldrons and bracelets and greaves on the legs. The basin and hoses are covered with red colored velvet breeches. The knight sports a cape and is armed with a round shield, a jousting lance with velvet banner and a sword. The horse also is harnessed with a metal parade armor enriched with relief sculpted figures and a fringed, red colored velvet caparison.
